Getting Ready To Begin The New School Year

It is late July and bells are about to start ringing for the new school year in about a month, here in Texas. When I was Science Department Chair at MOJO Permian in the early 90's, at Pecos High School in the early 2000's and recently at Kermit High School, at this time I would be carefully looking over my budget for the coming year and previewing programs that I could bring into the science classroom that would help my students learn and teachers teach either Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, Geology, and Astronomy. I was always looking to see which programs out there had a proven record of engaging young people at the Kinesthetic, Auditory, and Visual Levels. Now as a science consultant and co-creator of an online biology course I know that what I have created will powerfully impact the high school biology student especially those that fit the subgroups.
